The Hills have been busy to say the least. Here's a synopsis of what we've been up to the last 8 months or so. Where did the time go?
December 2011
We went to Florida for Christmas. We had a great time visiting the Hills and Bergers. We braved Disney World in December and it was so much fun! Reese was baptized and his brother Keith and wife Veronica are Reese's godparents. We had so much fun with all the family!
January 2012
Happy New Year! This month flew by. We were preparing for our big move most of the month. Yard sales, purging, and shipping cars... I took the entire month to study for my board exam to become a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and passed! Our good friend took this lovely family photo of us at one of our favorite beaches in Hawaii, Lanikai Beach.
February 2012
Savannah turned 4 years old and we had to celebrate one last time with all her friends in Hawaii. It was a bittersweet day. We left Hawaii 2 days later.
We stepped of the plane in Washington DC and were greeted by cold weather. We stayed in the area for 10 days to househunt before we started a long leave down in Florida. We found our house (pictures to be posted on a later Blog) and love it. It even snowed for an hour or so. Dave was eager to show Savannah how to make and throw snowballs at me!

House hunting was fun...at first. Then, I wanted it to be over as fast as possible. No wonder I wasn't feeling myself...we found out we were expecting baby #3! We enjoyed taking time to out of our busy days with the realtor to enjoy the city.
Once we got the house, we hit the road. Next stop was to visit my brother's family in Jacksonville, FL. The cousins have so much fun playing together. After Jacksonville we traveled to Panama City to help my sister and her husband move into their new home. The next stop of the tour de Florida was St. Petersburg, then finally Port St. Lucie, FL.
March 2012
While we were waiting to close on our house. We enjoyed some much needed rest from all the traveling. I wasn't feeling all that peppy, so by the time we got to my parents house. I was ready to relax! We enjoyed time with the family and had a baby shower for my sister Pam.

My mom came up to Virginia to help us unpack. She was a life saver as Dave was sent to San Diego for training before the boxes were even unpacked! Before he left we went into D.C. and saw the last few cherry blossoms of the season.

For Mother's Day weekend, I went out to San Diego to spend some time with Dave. We had so much fun just the 2 of us!
Back in Virginia we took the girls to an amazing airshow in Maryland.
We are enjoying seeing the sights! For Memorial Day, we went and toured Mt. Vernon.
June 2012
Beating the Heat! Virginia's heat is brutal in the summer. Seriously, I am a Florida girl and spent the last 7 years in Hawaii, but Virginia's heat/humidity is disgusting! Good thing we invested in a baby pool. Everybody spent time cooling off in the pool this summer!
Smoothie time!
Nothing is better than the smell of clean babies after a good bath. Little Reese loves snuggling up with a good book before bedtime.

Welcome Christopher Jr! My sister and her husband had a baby boy in June. When he was 2 weeks old, the girls and I took a trip to help her out and spend time with our family's newest edition.
Savannah enjoyed fishing with Uncle Chris. She caught that catfish!!

Stay tuned for more updates soon! I finally feel settled in our new home and community. It honestly took months to finally feel this way. Good thing because Baby Girl #3 is due October 26th!
We enjoyed the Halloween weekend with the kids. We went with some friends to a Fall Festival. The girls loved it!
