I love trying to match us all in coordinating colors.
Savannah clung to her daddy doll throughout the entire deployment. Dave gave her a special patch to put in the pocket of the doll. She kept it safe and sound the whole 6 1/2 months!

So excited to see the bus pull up!
Looking for her daddy.
I'm trying to hold it together. Homecomings are very emotional. The technology and communication is so great now. We were fortunate to skype, talk on the phone and email. But, it's still not the same as seeing him face to face after being apart for half of a year.
Sniff!
There he is! Looking so good!
First kiss!
Family hug.

...and chocolates from his short stop in Germany.
Back together again. Ahhhh.....what a relief to finally not worry.
Holding little Reese for the first time since she was 12 weeks old.
Getting to know her daddy took some convincing from Mommy.
Peeking though.
Family of 4
It's been 2 weeks since Dave came home. We are adjusting just fine. The girls adore Daddy being home. Savannah adjusted right away to daddy. It took Reese about a week to let him hold her. Deployments are hard, but somehow we make it through. Thanks to a supportive family and good friends, we make the best out of tough circumstances. It's so good to have him home. Now we can enjoy our time with each other!
